Privacy Policy

NBG Radio app and nbglive.com • Effective 20 October 2026

This policy covers the NBG Radio mobile app (Android and iPhone) and the website nbglive.com, published by Nothing But God Productions (NBG 104.7 FM), Barbados ("NBG", "we").

The short version

The app does not ask you to sign in, does not collect your name, email, contacts, location or any other personal information, and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone.

What happens when you listen

To play the live broadcast, your device connects to our streaming provider's server. Like any internet server, it receives your device's IP address and basic technical details (such as the app or browser type) for as long as you are connected, so that the audio can be delivered. These details are used only to deliver the stream and to produce anonymous listener counts. They are not used to identify you.

Schedule and now-playing

The app downloads the programme schedule and the current song title from our servers. No information about you is sent with these requests beyond what any web request carries.

Calls, messages and links

If you tap to call the station, send a WhatsApp message, send an email or open a social media link, the app hands over to that app or website. Anything you send there is handled under that service's own privacy policy. If you contact us, we use your message only to respond to it, or to read out a request or shout-out on air if you asked us to.

Permissions

The app uses permissions only to play audio: internet access, background playback with a media notification and lock-screen controls, and keeping the device awake while it plays. It does not use your camera, microphone, contacts or location.

The website

nbglive.com does not use cookies or analytics. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard connection information, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
